Released over a year ago in both the US and Japan, it was announced in June that Shin Megami Tensei IV, a finalist for our Best 3DS Game of 2013, would finally come to the rest of the world. Well, now we know that the game is set to release in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Australia, and New Zealand on October 30 as an eShop exclusive. The game’s DLC is also set to release in those regions in the month following the game’s launch as well, including the armor, stages, and grinding and money DLC.
In case you need a refresher on what the game is, here’s what Atlus has to say:
The story of Shin Megami Tensei IV revolves around the Samurai, the sacred protectors of the Eastern Kingdom of Mikado. As a newly appointed Samurai, players will struggle with factions that have nefarious designs on the world as they defend their home kingdom from a growing army of demons. Decisions players make throughout the course of the story will have lasting repercussions, as the fate of the world hangs in the balance.
