There has been a striking turn of events from the day Koei Tecmo Europe said that, as far as they knew, Fatal Frame: Oracle of the Sodden Raven was a Japan-only title (which was certainly was quite upsetting to those who had been clamoring for the game). It seems to have sparked something else other than the intended effect. Instead of people despairing and giving up hope, the polar opposite has happened. Our hashtag #WeWantFatalFrame has gone viral on Twitter and on the official MiiVerse community for localization of the game. Leave it to those of us who are passionate about this wonderfully scary franchise to turn a negative into a positive.
I want to take this time to thank everyone who has started to get behind the movement, all the people who never gave up and stuck with Operation Zero through thick and thin, and to all the newcomers coming aboard. You’re all wonderful. It really is amazing how finally the dream to have all Fatal Framers rally in support for a worldwide release is on the verge of happening. For people to actually set aside their differences and come together for something they love and care so deeply about is nothing short of amazing.
