The Evil Within
What the!?

So what is The Evil Within? Well, it is a survival horror game, which is no shocker given the screenshot above. Brought to us by the creator of the famous Resident Evil series, Shinji Mikami, and a team of talented developers at Tango Gameworks, the game embodies pure survival horror. The game’s intricate story and highly-crafted environments come together to create an immersive and tension-filled world. With only scarce resources at your disposal, you must fight to survive. But you knew resources would be tight, didn’t you?

The Evil Within
Mutilated and unfriendly!

The Evil Within
Freaky!
The Evil Within
He wants to butcher you!

So what on Earth is going on? Well, The Evil Within puts you in the shoes of Detective Sebastian Castellanos. As he and his partners investigate a gruesome set of mass murders, they discover a powerful and mysterious force. After seeing fellow officers slaughtered, Sebastian is halted by an ambush and knocked out. He awakens only to find himself lost in a twisted and deranged world. Terrible creatures wander amongst the dead. Sebastian is left with no choice but to fight for his life as he faces the unseen horrors awaiting him when he sets out to get to the bottom of things.

The Evil Within
Doesn’t that make it hard to see where you’re going? You’re not friendly are you…

Are you brave enough to step into the shoes of Detective Sebastian and unravel the truth? Or will you flee in terror?

Michael is a veteran gamer in his late 30s, who grew up around video games, with fond memories of the oldies like the NES, SNES, and N64 among others. He loves Nintendo, but also plays a lot of games on his PC. Michael also enjoys going for walks/bike rides, loves animals, and enjoys thunderstorms (and science in general). I love Nintendo but I also play a lot of game's on PC, many of which are on steam. My favorite Nintendo game's include Zelda, Metroid, and Smash Bros to name a few. On PC I love the Half-Life games, as well as most all of the Source Engine games just to name a few.
