Most Wanted Mario Kart 8 DLC Characters | Kirby

1. Kirby (Kirby series)

The number one choice is not so surprising once you think about it. Kirby fits all the criteria you want in an add-on character. He’s a cute character and an iconic Nintendo mascot all in one. The Kirby franchise is probably the one not currently represented in Mario Kart that appeals to the broadest spectrum of Nintendo fans. Not all of us may like Pokémon, and not all of us may like Metroid, but if you like Mario and Yoshi, it’s tough to disagree with Kirby.

Well, that’s it. It was not an easy thing to do to bring this list down to ten. The list may have primarily been full of leaders of their own franchise, but they are by far not the only ones we want to see. The amount of characters we as fans actually want to see in Mario Kart 8 is more than any of us could count. Notable omissions were the villains and side-kick types who had to be passed over so the main characters could take the lead. Then there are the re-skins and palette swaps of existing characters. Tanooki Suit Mario is one of the announced DLC characters, so what about the Frog Suit and Hammer Bros. Suit? How about different colored tunics for Link? There’s no limit to how far it goes.

What do you think? Do you agree with our list, or do you think we’re all crazy? Do you have a list of your own? Let us know what characters you want to see in the comments.
