It’s almost here. The wait for a crossover adventure of a couple of gaming’s great icons is almost upon us. No, I’m not talking about the crossover MIGHTY GUNVOLT (which comes with Azure Striker GUNVOLT until the end of November). I’m talking about the highly anticipated Professor Layton vs. Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney. For the first time in North America, these two heroes come together to solve the mysteries of the mysterious Labyrinthia.

Of course, those aren’t the only games releasing this week. Mega Man X3 rounds out the August Mega Man releases in North America, coming to the Wii U Virtual Console. For new eShop releases, the Wii U gets SteamWorld Dig and The Fall (which released earlier this week). Coming in the next few days, the Wii U Virtual Console will also see Street Fighter 2010: The Final Fight (September 1st) and Nobunaga’s Ambition (September 4th).

Outside of gaming, Jeff is a musician, being trained as a trombonist for Jazz and Classical music, and holds a degree in Sound Recording.
