Exclusive Pre-Order Incentives Include Expansion Packs and Dynamic Custom Theme

KOEI TECMO America today released a new trailer and images for the turn-based ‘7 dimension’ Sci-fi RPG AR NOSURGE: ODE TO AN UNBORN STAR, scheduled to launch in North America on September 23, 2014 for the PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system. The newly released trailer and images combined showcase the art, story, original music, stages and various characters that help weave together the opus of Ar Nosurge.

Additionally, the company announced GameStop exclusive pre-order incentives today— included are a DLC set with two Misogi Expansion Packs (Nay and Kanon), a dynamic custom theme based on the Felion Console.

Probe deeper into the mysterious world of AR NOSURGE: ODE TO AN UNBORN STAR through screenshots that introduce some of the beautiful stages where the story will unfold— busy city streets, cozy restaurants, underwater labs, and otherworldly rural locals, are just a fragment of the amazing imagery players will be introduced to only a few hours into the game.

An array of new images focuses on the playable characters Delta, who came through the barrier of Felion to protect humans as part of the Special Forces team and Earthes, a strange combat robot who helps the mysterious Ion with her quest. Also featured are Ion and Casty, the heroines of AR NOSURGE: ODE TO AN UNBORN STAR, who have the ability to create magic with their song. Ion (Ionasal kkll Preciel) seems to be aware of details about the world that none of her contemporaries know and is adept in engineering, always tinkering with machines and creating strange devices. Casty on the other hand is a cheerful human girl from Felion whose ability to use Song Magic has earned her a spot in the Special Forces’ ‘Genomis task force’.

Ar Nosurge is a Fantasy, Sci-fi, ‘7 Dimension’ RPG, that takes place in a world where music and song can create magic. It tells the compelling story of a civilization that lost their planet and has been roaming the edge of space for 2000 years in search of a new home.

In AR NOSURGE: ODE TO AN UNBORN STAR, the player follows two sets of characters: Delta and Casty, whose goal is to protect humanity and save the world, and Ion & Earthes, who are trying to find Ion a way home to Earth. The player can interchange between both pairs and soon discover a way to combine their storylines and strengths to eventually solve the mystery that shrouds their ongoing struggle.

AR NOSURGE: ODE TO AN UNBORN STAR is developed by Gust and published in North America by Koei Tecmo America. AR NOSURGE: ODE TO AN UNBORN STAR will launch for the PlayStation 3 in North America on September 23, 2014 and will be available for $49.99 at participating retailers and through the PlayStation Store. Pre-order incentives are exclusive to those ordering through GameStop, prior to September 23, 2014. This title has not yet been rated by the ESRB.

NIS America has also announced that they will be handling the game’s Limited Edition, sold only through their online store, which you can check out here.
