Another week is behind us, ladies and gentlemen. And while I may have skipped last week’s Retro Wrap-Up in favor of going on vacation to the beach, I’m back to celebrate today in style! This week’s Wrap-Up features the most iconic mothers in gaming. Think of it as my unique way of wishing each and every one of you a happy Mother’s Day. I tried not to go the obvious route (I’m looking at you, Cooking Mama) and pick games where the protagonist’s mother (or antagonist’s, in the case of a certain pick!) played a key role at some point in the story, or throughout the entire journey.
I wonder if you guys can figure out why exactly I made some of the choices I did! In the spirit of motherly love, the oprainfall Retro Commercial Research Team—me—brings you great TV moments that should yield memories of Mom here in the United States and across the globe (because why not be special for once?)
