Have I mentioned the Dysfunctional Systems Kickstarter recently? I have? Well it’s been at least a few days, so I think it’s time to talk about it again. Although they originally said they would be waiting to announce these until the project was funded, Dischan just released an update announcing the stretch goals for the project. Although the project isn’t technically funded yet, they’re very close and have been moving at a good pace for the past few days, which certainly explains their decision to announce them early. They’ve got five days to go, and some of these stretch goals aren’t too far away, so I’m excited to see what they can accomplish.
All of the stretch goals announced are about enhancing the next two episodes of Dysfunctional Systems, from more characters and freedom of movement to animated sprites and cutscenes. Personally I’m really hoping that they reach the $64,000 stretch goal, which would allow them to create a short prologue about Winter’s first week at school to be released as a demo before episode 2. Their final stretch goal at $100,000 is to add an alternate ending. This would be an alternate path in episode 2, and would continue on in episode 3. For a full list of the stretch goals, check out the update!
I have to admit, as a Dysfunctional Systems fan, I’m pretty excited about these stretch goals. I may go and increase my pledge after I finish this article.
