Nyamyam‘s indie adventure game Tengami, which debuted on iOS just a few days ago, now has an official projected release for the Nintendo Wii U. The game will come out sometime in June. Windows and Mac OS X versions of the game will also be released sometime in the future but will naturally not feature the touch controls of the mobile and Wii U versions. The iOS version costs $4.99 (USD/CAD)/£2.99/€4.49, and the Windows and OS X versions can now be pre-ordered for $10 (USD). It’s not clear at this point how much the Wii U version will cost.
In Tengami, the player guides a samurai through a beautifully crafted pop-up book inspired by Japanese paper craft. The player must solve puzzles to progress through the world in addition to guiding the main character and turning the pages. All this, along with a lovely soundtrack, makes for a very serene experience.
