We’ve suspected that Inazuma Eleven might be coming to North America, based on a new trademark and a recent listing on Nintendo’s website, but Nintendo dropped a bomb in their Nintendo Direct today when they announced that Inazuma Eleven would be releasing on the eShop right after the presentation was over. Surprise!
Inazuma Eleven is a soccer RPG franchise by Level-5 that been pretty long running in Japan and Europe, but hasn’t seen Western shores until now. It may be digital-only, but I’m always up for a Level 5 game, since no matter how ridiculous the concept sounds, it ends up working in the end.
