In a partnership between East and West, the TGS gameplay trailer for the new horror game, The Evil Within (Psychobreak in Japan), has just been released.
Published by Bethesda and developed by Tango Gameworks, The Evil Within places the player in the shoes of detective Sebastian Castellanos, who, with his partner, rushes to a scene of a brutal mass murder. After being knocked out by a mysterious assailant, Castellanos is tossed into world where monsters hunt him down and his sanity tested.
Being directed by Shinji Mikami (producer of the original Resident Evil games), The Evil Within may well be on its way to being a survival horror game that will bring in the scares. The title will be available for the Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS3, PS4, and the PC in 2014.
