Listen to Hatsune Miku on Music Unlimited

Sony has announced two new channels that will be released on Music Unlimited for PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4. The first will be a channel called Game Music, and as the title suggests, will be devoted entirely to streaming music from video game soundtracks. The second, which is currently live, will feature music by Vocaloid sensation, Hatsune Miku.

Music Unlimited is Sony’s on-demand music streaming service, which as of November of 2012 was streaming more than 18 million songs. Although these channels will be available for the PS3 and PS4, the streaming service is available on many other devices including the PlayStation Vita, phones, tablets, computers, and the list goes on. While Music Unlimited is available in Europe and North America, there’s no word yet in regards to whether or not we’ll have access to these new channels.

Even if we don’t get these new streaming channels, you’re still in luck if you’re a fan of Hatsune Miku and Vocaloid. Hatsune Miku: Project Diva F was released recently in North America and Europe. While it may not be music streaming, it is a great way to bring Vocaloid to your PlayStation 3.
