Namco Bandai has released a new character trailer and a large batch of screenshots for their upcoming high-definition Tales of Symphonia remaster, Tales of Symphonia Chronicles for the PlayStation 3. This release will have both the GameCube classic and the Wii sequel, Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World.
The new trailer showcases Genis and his pivotal moments in cutscenes. The trailer also shows off Genis in action casting powerful spells such as Meteor Storm and Indignation Judgment, which reveals his new image art for high-power attacks. Tales of Symphonia Chronicles stays true to its GameCube origins by retaining the original’s cel-shaded art while adding some extra light to make the models look more three-dimensional.

The screenshots depict new Tales of Xillia and Tales of Xillia 2 costumes for Kratos, Zelos, and Presea. Additionally, the cut-in art for Mystic Artes has been redrawn, now resembling the animations of the characters before performing their attacks. New images for Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World have been posted, as well, featuring character concept art that can be viewed in-game, as well as ridiculous-looking head gear that can be equipped in the game.
