(Japan) Nobunaga’s Ambition and Romance of the Three Kingdoms are two separate simulation games for the Nintendo 3DS that are both getting a limited edition and a twin pack. Both are to be released in Japan on September 26, 2013. The limited editions are called the “Premium BOX” and are available for ¥7140 ($71.47) each. The other goody is a package containing both games that is called the “Twin Pack” that will retail for ¥9240 ($92.49).
Both the Nobunaga’s Ambition and Romance of the Three Kingdoms Premium BOX editions contain:
- A copy of their respective game
- Original soundtracks
- Special IC card stickers *
- Deluxe sticker set
- Collectible packaging
*Cultural note: in Japan, they use these really cool, convenient prepaid cards with brand names such as SUICA and PASMO, which use special markers to allow for convenient pay for things like train tickets and shopping. You can customize them with these, without interfering with the card’s abilities.
The Twin Pack contains:
- Both games
- A special 30th anniversary calendar
In addition to these collector packs, for the first month each game is on sale there will be free DLC episodes. This will be ongoing from September 19 to October 18, 2013.
