Dungeons and Dragons: Chronicles of Mystara

The classic Dungeons and Dragons side-scrolling beat-’em-ups, Dungeons and Dragons: Tower of Doom and Dungeons and Dragons: Shadow over Mystara, are getting a well deserved, and much needed, HD upgrade bundle titled Dungeons and Dragons: Chronicles of Mystara. Capcom recently released a trailer revealing the magic user’s deadly array of magical combat, and the outcome for the helpless foes that just so happen to be in front of him. While the magic user may not be a damage sponge like his warrior companion, the devastating destruction his spells cause make him one not to be trifled with. However, he fits in quite nicely with the strengths and weaknesses of his partners the thief, fighter, cleric, elf, and dwarf. Check him out down below.

Iron Galaxy, the developers who have handled many of Capcom’s HD upgrades (Such as Street Fighter 3: 3rd Strike), have added a plethora of new features, including one called “House Rules,” which allows players to tamper with the original gameplay mechanics for an experience tailored just for them. Hidden underneath the new features and refined HD visuals, the original 4-player co-op action and multi-tiered campaign mode are still intact for you veterans out there.

Be sure to stay on the look out for Dungeons and Dragons: Chronicles of Mystara when it releases this June for Xbox Live, PlayStation Network, and PC. The eventual release for the Wii U eShop hasn’t been dated, but oprainfall will update you as soon as one surfaces.
