Target looks to be unloading their Basic Wii U set by slashing $60 off the normal price. We’ve seen various retailers reducing the price of the system several times already since its launch, but $239.99 is quite possibly the lowest done by a major retailer to date.
This sale is accompanied by a slew of other games and systems also being discounted across Nintendo’s, Sony’s and Microsoft’s home consoles, as well as the 3DS (the Vita is not included in the sale). None of them are as drastic a cut as the 20% price reduction of the Basic Wii U, though. The Deluxe Wii U remains at $349.99.
This deal is only for online purchases, and ends on June 1.
