What's everyone staring at?
What’s everyone staring at?

Have you ever played a game that you just couldn’t stop talking about? Perhaps it was a newer game, or one you played ages ago but can’t stop reminiscing about? Maybe you were the only one you know who played it, and you just couldn’t get your friends into it, and as a result had nobody to talk to about your earth-shattering experience?

Then join us for Cloudburst! Think of it like a book club, but for games and gamers. What we will do is post a list of games we would like to play, about ten or so titles, and vote on one to play as a group over the course of a month. Everyone plays at their own pace and during that time we all discuss tips, tricks, strategies, and our overall experiences over at the oprainfall forums.

Several of the Rainfall staff will be participating so its a great chance to get to know the writers, editors, managers and various other lackey underlings who bring all of your Rainfall news. To kick off the party, the Rainfall staffers have picked out ten games for you guys to vote on:

Castlevania – Symphony of the Night (PS1, PSP, PSN, Xbox live)
Chrono Trigger (SNES, DS, PSN, VC, PS1, iOS)
Phantasy Star IV (PS3, Xbox 360, PSP, PS2, VC, Genesis, Windows)
The Legend of Zelda (NES, Gamecube, VC, GBA)
Streets of Rage 2 (PSN, Xbox live, VC, Windows)
Parasite Eve (PS1, PSN)
Braid (Xbox live, PSN, Windows, iOS)
Vectorman (PS3, Xbox 360, PSP, PS2, VC, Windows)
Earthworm Jim (PSN, Xbox live, VC, Genesis, SNES)
Sonic 3 & Knuckles (PSN, Xbox live, VC, Windows, Genesis)

Go vote HERE on the forums to let us know which one you’d like to play! Voting will start today Monday, May 13th and last until Thursday, May 23rd. The gaming event will officially start Saturday, May 25th and end on Tuesday, June 25th.
