Mega Man Unlimited

Capcom shows no signs of making any more Mega Man games any time soon, so it’s up to the fans to fill the void. Late last year, we got the fan-made Street Fighter X Mega Man, a crossover between Street Fighter and Mega Man that was supported by Capcom, and was released for the PC. Now, another Mega Man fan game for the PC has appeared in the form of Mega Man Unlimited, which has officially entered the alpha stages of development.

A trailer for Mega Man Unlimited recently hit YouTube, complete with cheesy J-pop music in the background. It shows off the playable levels, some of the new powers, and pictures of the new bosses that you’ll face off with. Philippe “MegaPhilX” Poulin, the game’s creator, also stated in the YouTube comments that there will be an item shop like in Mega Man 9 and Mega Man 10 and that you can use a keyboard and mouse, a controller, or both at the same time.
