The hype train for the newest entry in FromSoftware’s Souls series, Dark Souls II, just keeps on escalating, thanks mainly to the “12 minute” gameplay video released today. A handful of hours before the premier of said video, NeoGAF user Wario64 uploaded some jaw dropping in-game screenshots full of action packed scenes and horrid looking foes. By the looks of it, Dark Souls II appears to have the same unique art direction brought to us in the earlier titles. Maybe even a bit more similar to Demon’s Souls.

Thus far, Dark Souls II is confirmed for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC. A release date has not been announced.
