zero escape 3

In case you haven’t heard, the critically acclaimed Zero Escape series is getting a third volume, according to its creator Kotaro Uchikoshi. The upcoming project, currently known only as Zero Escape 3, will take place between the surprise 2009 hit Nine Hours, Nine Persons, Nine Doors and its sequel, Virtue’s Last Reward, one of last year’s best handheld games. Those of us who’ve finished the previous Zero Escape volumes aren’t surprised by this particular announcement. Why, you ask? And what do the quotes around “between” in this article’s title mean? That would be telling. You’ll have to play the previous two games in the series for yourself to find out. No spoilers in the comments, please.

Expect more puzzling action and dizzying twists in yet another Nonary Game in Zero Escape 3 when it arrives soon. No release date has been set as of yet, but we’ll keep you posted.
