To commemorate the release of Okami HD on the PS3, Capcom has decided to release the entire 5-disc soundtrack on the Japanese iTunes. Each disc is being released as a separate album as opposed to a compilation. Some of the composers who wrote the soundtrack for Okami include Masami Ueda, whose previous musical work includes Resident Evil, Viewtiful Joe, and Bayonetta; Hiroyuki Hamada, who worked on the Sonic Rush soundtrack; and Rei Kondoh, who recently helped write the soundtrack for the critically acclaimed Fire Emblem: Awakening.
There is no word on whether this soundtrack will see an international release as of this writing. Hopefully, Capcom will bring this beautiful soundtrack to non-Japanese audiences. You can purchase each disc right now if you have a Japanese iTunes account. For everyone else, you can listen to some samples of each disc here.
