A humorous Easter Egg from a previous version of Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance has come to light. Platinum Games posted a YouTube video featuring a bunch of cats that surround Raiden. Rather than be able to cut them down as an enemy, or having Raiden’s blade pass right through them as any other non-interactive item might, these cats can dodge Raiden’s attacks with a finesse that is awe-inspiring. You might say that they are Ninja Cats.

While, obviously, this scene didn’t make it into the final game, the work done on these acrobatic kitties didn’t go completely to waste. One of these kitties makes a couple of appearances in the main game. Please note, there could be mild spoilers in this video.

I think the next MGR game should feature these amazing kitties. Who wouldn’t want to play Metal Gear Rising: Ninja Cats?
