Nintendo has revealed that there will be multiplayer modes in the upcoming 3DS game, Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon. In Hunter Mode, players will arm themselves with their handy ghost-sucking vacuum, the Poltergust 5000, and team up with up to 4 players to enter the ScareScraper. Bursting with ghosts and ghouls, the ScareScraper must be cleared of its paranormal inhabitants before the timer runs out. Teamwork is key to achieve this goal and, if the team does well enough, may be rewarded with upgrades and bonuses. Players will be able to set the number of floors that must be cleared, with choices ranging from 5, 10, or 25, with boss battles awaiting them once they reach the top of each tower. The difficulty can be adjusted, and players who fall to the supernatural forces can be revived by their fellow teammates. Check out the video below for a sneak peak at this exciting feature!

Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon will be available March 24th, 2013 at local retail locations. It will also be available to download through the Nintendo eShop.
