Mere hours after the news broke that the 358/2 Days portion of Kingdom Hearts 1.5 HD Remix would be comprised of nearly three hours of completely re-imagined cutscenes, we have confirmation that the collection will be coming to North America. This information comes to us from none other than Jesse McCartney via a picture he tweeted earlier today. McCartney is the voice actor for Roxas, one of the series’ most pivotal characters, and the photo of the inside of his recording booth is the first evidence of localization we’ve seen.

The image seems to have been removed from Twitter and Instagram, presumably after some scrambling on Square Enix’s part, and a short video McCartney posted to his Keek account has also been removed.

Kingdom Hearts 1.5 HD Remix includes the original Kingdom Hearts, Kingdom Hearts Re:Chain of Memories, and remastered cutscenes from Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days, and it  releases in Japan on March 14th, 2013 for PlayStation 3. As of now, there is no date set for other regions but you can rest easy knowing it’s likely coming eventually. You’ve got a pop sensation to thank for that.

UPDATE: Here is the video. Thanks Eric!
