Having an older twin who excelled at everything, while you simultaneously failed at all you tried, would probably put a damper on life, eh? Enough so that we now get a cool new monster Leviathan due to his plight. Today I get to bring you news of the monster, including some back story as well as some information on a new mode in Soul Sacrifice, dubbed Ghost Mode.

There were 2 twin princes, who were as different as night and day. Where one could do no wrong, the other could never seem to fumble anything together well enough to be considered a victory or success.
Due to this, little bro grew up with a pretty mean inferiority complex. He finally found his niche in life; it seems it was to be by way of ferocious monsters. He would collect all sorts of monsters, one being a crocodile which hailed from another Kingdom. The crocodile was put into a cage where the Prince commenced to torture him. One would think this was how he chose to make himself feel bigger, badder than his older brother. Clearly this guy had issues.

When the time came for one of the brothers to take the throne, the older brother, being the better choice, was given the prestigious job. Sitting around staring at the crocodile, no doubt thinking up devious things to be done, the younger prince started to get some pretty sadistic thoughts. One of them being, if his brother were no longer around, say from being dead and all, he could take over! “If only I could get the crocodile to kill my brother” he thought. As he thought this, a strange voice could be heard and the prince could feel his body being drowned in magic.

Also, players will be offered both offensive and defensive choices that they get to make in Ghost Mode, a co-op multiplayer mode available in Soul Sacrifice. This mode seems to offer up a variety of choices for each player to make as well as allowing you to continue on as a ghost if you find yourself on the wrong side of death’s door. As a ghost you will be able to observe the status of your fellow team mates as well as the enemies. You are also given a super power of scary ghost like capacity. Okay, maybe not all that, but you can touch enemies on the screen and make them vulnerable.
