Satoshi Sakai, the producer of the game from Sega, stated that in preparation for the open beta, the game (which is currently available in a closed beta only) will temporarily be taken down. Sakai added that the record for the most number of players online simultaneously was broken over the weekend, as 41,500 people were playing together on Saturday.

Players in the open beta will not be able to pass level 30. If all goes well, the full version will be released at some stage during this summer. It will be free to play, but there will also be multiple payment options for unlocking additional content.
