TYPE-MOON has announced that Mahoutsukai no Yoru will receive an HD port for Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 in 2022. The visual novel originally released in 2012 for PC. Unlike the original version, the Switch and PS4 versions will feature full voice acting. This news comes off the heels of an anime film adaptation announcement.

You can check out the announcement trailer below.

Mahoutsukai no Yoru was first written in 1996 by Kinoko Nasu. It laid the groundwork for future works by Nasu such as Tsukihime and Fate/stay night.

Mahoutsukai no Yoru launches in 2022 for Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 in Japan.
