Final Thoughts and a Quick Thank You

I first want to thank Operation Rainfall for affording me a place to write about what I love most. To enjoy the games is one kind of pleasure, but to be able to share with others the reasons for that enjoyment is equally a pleasure, as well as a tremendous privilege. If I’ve convinced at least one reader out there to try a game new to them or to evoke fond memories of one played, then I’m satisfied.

To Steve and Crystal, for being directly responsible for enabling me, and, if it weren’t for you two, oprainfall itself would have fallen into the annals as a mere campaign. Instead, you two helped build a community of which I am honored to be part of and hope to see thrive.

I also wish to thank Josh Speer, my first manager and editor here. To you Josh, whose skill, insight, and patience has most certainly made me a better writer. Seriously, I appreciate your patience through all of my quirks and eccentricity, and, I am wholeheartedly grateful for your understanding of my passion and my desire to share that passion as strongly and succinctly as I always hope to do so.

An ongoing thank you to my new managers and editors, as you have done admirably in periphrastically teaching me and in continuing to shape me into the writer I wish to become.

And lastly, I wish to thank you, each and every one of you, who takes the time to read my, and my colleagues’, reviews, opinions, and musings. To all of you, those who appreciate the magic of the classics, hidden gems, the niche, and everything in between for which we are passionate. Thank you.
