River City Girls 2 & River City Girls Zero

It was announced at E3 that WayForward and Arc System Works will be bringing two River City Girls games out. First is River City Girls 2 which takes place not long after the first game and will follow Misako and Kyoko once again. The game will feature new enemies, environments, and moves. Two player co-op will be supported both locally and online. The game is currently set to be released sometime in 2022 and planned to be released on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and the Switch.

The second title that was announced is River City Girls Zero. The title is the first time the 1994’s Shin Nekketsu Koha: Kunio-tachi no Banka will be released in the West and features the first time Misako and Kyoko joined with Kunio and Riki. The game will feature the gameplay, music, and graphics of the original game but, will have a new opening cinematic, manga cutscenes, a new theme song, and have local co-op. It is currently set for release on the Switch later this year and planned releases on other platforms later on.
