Koei Temco has announced that Samurai Warriors 5 has added ten new characters to the game’s fantastic roster. These characters were non playable in previous titles titles, but will join the fray here. They are side characters, so while powerful, they do not have unique “Power Attacks.” The additional characters include; Nobuyuki Oda, to Motonari Mōri’s grandson, Terumoto Mōri. historical figures, such as Motonobu Okabe, Katsuyori Takeda, Motoharu Kikkawa, Dōsan Saitō, Yoshitatsu Saitō, Yoshiaki Ashikaga, Yoshikage Asakura, and Fujihide Mitsubuchi. This will beef up the game’s 27 character roster quite nicely.

Koei Tecmo has confirmed, to no one’s surprise, Samurai Warriors 5 will receive a slew of post-launch DLC, including all-new scenarios, BGM sets, and horses.
