The first Nintendo Download of March is here, with three new featured games and a brand new challenger having just joined Super Smash Bros. Ultimate today!

Featured Games

Sea of Solitude: Directors Cut ($19.99) sends players on a journey through a troubled but beautiful world. Face your fears as you travel through a drowned city full of metaphorical creatures who “evoke painful emotions”. Kay will need to overcome them as she traverses dangerous environments, solves puzzles, and battles monsters to restore her own peace of mind. This game just released today.

The next featured game, an adventure RPG called Gnosia ($24.99), also released today. The Gnosia is a mysterious and deadly threat to the crew of a drifting spaceship. The Gnosia are “human, yet inhuman”. As time goes on, the most suspicious members of the crew will be put into cold sleep as they try to get rid of all Gnosia onboard. It’s impossible to tell who has been infected by the Gnosia or not, so there are no guarantees the right ones are chosen. This leads to one simple question. Who will triumph, the humans or the Gnosia?

If you’re needing some new battle royale shooter action, the free-to-play Apex Legends is coming to the Switch on March 9th. Team up and fight on the edge of the Frontier for both fame and fortune. Those who jump into the game on Nintendo Switch before the end of Season 8 will get the new Legendary P.A.T.H. skin. They will also get 30 guaranteed levels for their Season 8 Battle Pass, which is sold separately as you probably guessed. Not only that, but from March 9th to March 23rd, players will earn double XP in-game.

DLC

Pyra and Mythra have joined the roster of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate as a two-in-one fighter similar to Zelda/Shiek in Super Smash Bros. Melee. Pyra specializes in power while Mythra prefers speed. Their general moves are similar, but Mythra performs them much faster, while Pyra does more damage to foes. They differ much more in their special moves and final smashes. This is the 9th challenger pack in the second fighter pass, and it launched earlier today. That means there are just two more DLC fighters still to be announced. It’s launch was announced during Smash Director Masahiro Sakurai’s character presentation earlier today, which you can check out right here:

Michael Fontanini
Michael is a veteran gamer in his late 30s, who grew up around video games, with fond memories of the oldies like the NES, SNES, and N64 among others. He loves Nintendo, but also plays a lot of games on his PC. Michael also enjoys going for walks/bike rides, loves animals, and enjoys thunderstorms (and science in general). I love Nintendo but I also play a lot of game's on PC, many of which are on steam. My favorite Nintendo game's include Zelda, Metroid, and Smash Bros to name a few. On PC I love the Half-Life games, as well as most all of the Source Engine games just to name a few.
