This Nintendo Download is a somewhat shorter one, including three featured titles and a new Super Mario 3D World reward coming to My Nintendo.

Featured Games

Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury ($59.99) brings another Mario adventure to the Switch. Although the main game is another port from the Wii U, it also has the addition of the new Bowser’s Fury mode. It takes place in Lake Lapcat, which is home to a number of islands. A friend can play as Bowser Jr. in local multiplayer and help you with their flight ability. Bowser may be bigger and more ferocious than ever, but he will have to go up against the new Giga Cat Mario! The game arrives just in time for this weekend, as it launches today.

Little Nightmares II ($29.99) brings a new horror adventure to fans of the original. Step into the role of a young boy named Mono, who is trapped in a world that has been distorted somehow by a mysterious tower in the distance. Six, the girl in the yellow raincoat, will guide him, and together they will uncover dark secrets. They will also have to face a variety of new threats in this world. This game also just launched.

The third and final featured title for today is UnderMine ($19.99). The action-adventure roguelike has a bit of RPG mixed in. Die, mine gold, unlock upgrades, and die again as you delve deeper into this dungeon crawling adventure. To truly get to the bottom of the dungeon’s mysteries, you’ll need to put together cryptic messages from its inhabitants. Along the way, you’ll uncover 100s of items to exploit to help you on your quest, ranging from potions, blessings, curses, and relics. These items can all stack and combo in different ways to change how the game plays. If you survive long enough, formidable bosses await you, and rescuing characters along the way can net you handy upgrades.

That does it for another Nintendo Download. Have a great weekend!

About Michael Fontanini

Michael is a veteran gamer in his late 30s, who grew up around video games, with fond memories of the oldies like the NES, SNES, and N64 among others. He loves Nintendo, but also plays a lot of games on his PC. Michael also enjoys going for walks/bike rides, loves animals, and enjoys thunderstorms (and science in general).

Michael is also a computer programmer. This started with a toy he got as a kid called Pre-Computer 1000 that was made by V-Tech. It had a simple programming mode (a bare-bones version of BASIC) which is what started him down the road of being a programmer! Michael can program in BASIC, Visual Basic, C++, C#, and is familiar with Java and Lua Script.

Putting programming and gaming together, Michael became a hobbyist game developer, which may give him some good insights on game development! Most recently, he has been playing with the Unity 3D game engine (a powerful and easy-to-use engine) and learning 3D modelling in Blender.

I love Nintendo but I also play a lot of game's on PC, many of which are on steam. My favorite Nintendo game's include Zelda, Metroid, and Smash Bros to name a few. On PC I love the Half-Life games, as well as most all of the Source Engine games just to name a few.
