The month of girls’ love refuses to end as we welcome in Bellhouse and First Snow. Bellhouse is Studio Élan’s own publishing wing that promotes wholesome and positive representation for LGBT women. To clarify, this is what Studio Élan is about and it’s what’s led them to creating the visual masterpiece Heart of the Woods. This vision marks a new and exciting time for developers of girls love titles. However, the excitement doesn’t end there. Studio Élan could have just ended the news right there, but they choose to announce their first game. From Salty Salty Studios comes First Snow, the prequel spinoff of Twofold. What makes this announcement so special? The people involved! Several members of First Snow also worked on the mesmerizing Highway Blossoms. Furthermore, the script was written by Suriko whom you may recognize from Katawa Shoujo. Needless to say, I’m super excited.

What can you tell us about the story of First Snow?

Having moved away from her friends and family to attend community college, Allison Merlo is a fresh student struggling with the day to day challenges of life.

Faced not only with living independently for the first time, but also having to get past her nerves to find new friends in an unfamiliar environment, she finds herself falling in with a group of eccentric writers and artists.

As she pushes through this new stage in her life, the art of the cold and enigmatic Eileen Turner takes her attention, setting her on a course she never expected.
