In a Tweet put out by the Nintendo Live 2019 Twitter account, they express concerns over Super Typhoon Hagibis as it makes it’s way to Japan, and state they are considering canceling the event out of safety concerns for those attending the event and everyone else involved.

The Nintendo Live 2019 Expo, assuming it takes place, will be held on October 13th – 14th at the Kyoto International Conference Center in Kyoto, Kyoto Prefecture, Japan. Tournaments for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate and Splatoon 2 will be taking place along with demos for a few upcoming releases such as Luigi’s Mansion 3, Ring Fit Adventure, and even am opportunity to take a photo along side Tom Nook from Animal Crossing: New Horizons.

You can watch the previously mentioned Nintendo Live 2019 twitter for any future announcements regarding the expo and the final word on any cancellation should they choose to cancel the event. Anyone considering going should keep an eye on the status of the typhoon and put their own safety above all else.
