Spike Chunsoft has updated information about the upcoming title YU-NO: A girl who chants love at the bound of this world. The game will now be releasing on the Nintendo Switch as well as PlayStation 4 and Steam. The PlayStation 4 and Switch editions have console exclusive Day-1 bonus goodies. The Switch will be getting 8-BIT YU-NO’S GREAT ADVENTURE. An action game set in classic 8-bit style featuring the characters from YU-NO. This will be in the form of a digital code for the eShop. The PlayStation 4 version includes a mini cloth poster featuring Eriko Takeda.

Your Love Awaits Beyond This World.

During his vacation from Sakaimachi Academy, Takuya Arima receives a package from his supposedly deceased father. It contains the mysterious Reflector Device which allows the user to travel between parallel worlds.

With help from his friends, teachers, and lovers, Takuya must unearth the mystery of his father’s legacy to prevent a calamity threatening to envelop reality itself.

The game will release on October 1st and the following changes were made to console versions of the game:

  • Sala Oasis Scene
    • A sunbeam is placed over Sala’s naked lower body.
  • Symbols
    • Some cursor interaction symbols have been replaced with the “investigation” symbol. The story content and gameplay remains the same; only the cursor symbol itself has been replaced.

These content changes will not be applied to the Steam®(PC) version. The Steam®(PC) version will contain identical content to the Japanese Nintendo Switch™ release.
