Pokémon TCG | Detective Pikachu ExpansionIn preparation for the upcoming Pokémon: Detective Pikachu movie, The Pokémon Company International has revealed a new list of cards for the Pokémon TCG that will be included in the upcoming movie-themed expansion. According to the official press release, this expansion will feature artwork done in the same CGI style as the movie and will be available for purchase starting on March 29, 2019 (in Europe). It should be noted however that the official website lists the availability as starting April 5, 2019.

The new cards revealed today include the following:

  • Arcanine
  • Bulbasaur
  • Charizard
  • Charmander
  • Detective Pikachu
  • Ditto
  • Greninja
  • Lickitung
  • Ludicolo
  • Machamp
  • Magikarp
  • Mewtwo
  • Mewtwo-GX
  • Morelull
  • Slaking
  • Snubbull

In addition to the 18 new cards included in the expansion, there will also be special promotional cards available separately. This will put the total amount of new cards at 25.
