The first of the brand-new Super Smash Bros. amiibo will launch alongside Super Smash Bros. Ultimate on December 7th. That includes the Inkling Girl and new-to-amiibo Ridley and Wolf fighter figures. Just as with Japan, Nintendo also confirmed that previous Smash Bros. amiibo will see a re-release in North American retail. Albeit,”many of them” will return in their wording, hinting that some of the series won’t see a reprint.

The new-to-Smash amiibo and other returning veterans will retail for the slight uptick of $15.99 USD, while all the reprints from the first series, spanning 2014 to 2017, will keep their original $12.99 MSRP.

Nintendo’s Japanese side has all but confirmed every existing Smash Bros. amiibo will be re-released in two waves, one on December 7th and the second in January 2019. Other new and returning fighters like Ice Climbers and Daisy are also set to receive amiibo in the future.
