Today MangaGamer’s Kickstarter for Koropokkur in Love ~A Little Fairy’s Tale~ has gone live. This is their first venture into creating a visual novel rather than just localization. The story follows a young woman that after setting out from her isolated village finds herself in a vast new world for the first time. Troubles await her however, as she must maintain her human-sized form and learn to live in the human world with her magic powers and Satoru, a young maid cafe owner.

MangaGamer has setup a lot of reward tiers for this one. They range from a digital copy of the game at $15 to the $7500  Itaru Hinoue tier that will net you a trip to Japan to meet the famed artist. Those not in the know, Itaru Hinoue worked on such KEY classics as Clannad, Rewrite and Kanon. The other tiers include physical copies of the game at $50 and loads of other physical goods like wall scrolls and pillow cases.

They currently have $7500 of the their 30K Goal. You can find out more about the characters and reward tiers over on the Kickstarter page.

About Steve Baltimore

Steve started with oprainfall not long after the campaign moved from the IGN forums to Facebook. Ever since, he has been fighting to give all non-mainstream RPGs a fair voice. As the site admin, he will continue to do this and even show there is value in what some would deem "pure ecchi." He loves niche games and anime more than anything... well, except maybe Neptune.
