Wayforward Technologies is bringing their perennial favorite Shantae and the Pirate’s Curse to Nintendo Switch next week on March 22nd. The Switch port is largely the same game that has graced other HD consoles but now includes HD Rumble and the Super Shantae Nab mini-game, the very same that is included in some editions of Pirate’s Curse. North American fans of the half-genie hero can preload the Shantae prequel right now for $19.99 USD.

Shantae and the Pirate’s Curse joins Shantae: Half-Genie Hero already on the Switch, with its own retail Ultimate Day One Edition in tow. Wayforward offers no word yet whether the Switch port of Pirate’s Curse will have its own retail package soon. The third game in the Shantae series first launched on 3DS and Wii U in late-2014, has been ported to PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One, and now has its turn on Nintendo’s latest, hot-selling hybrid console.
