God of War

God of War, the latest entry in the long-running Playstation franchise, finally has a release date: April 20. The game was first revealed during Sony’s E3 2016 press conference, and features a major shift for the main character Kratos, as well as the game’s setting. Long after his battles with the Greek gods of Olympus, Kratos, along with his son Artreus, set off on a long journey where they battle larger than life monsters and bond as father and son along the way.

Along with the standard edition, the game will launch with Collector’s Edition for $129.99, Stone Mason Edition for $149.99, and Digital Deluxe Edition for $69.99. The Collector and Stone Mason Editions will come with a statue, cloth map and various figures along with in-game bonuses, while the digital edition comes with a digital armor set, along with digital art book and digital issue #0 prequel coming from Dark Horse featuring creator commentary.
