Oprainfall Halloween | Day 1

Welcome to oprainfall’s 31 Days of Halloween. Every day we will be looking at a different anime, manga, or game series and spotlighting it. They don’t necessarily have to be in the horror genre, but they must have left an impact on us using those techniques.

Our first episode will be me highlighting my favorite video game series of all time, Silent Hill, as well as saying what my personal favorite is. I’ve loved these games since I was little, and continue to go back to them even now. The full video will be below, and be sure to check back daily for new videos.

About Dalton McClain

A gamer at heart, and a creator by trade. As a shy kid who grew up in a small town, my only solace was with the games that I enjoyed playing. That being said I enjoy just about every type of game, but more than anything I love playing horror/unique games. I look forward to sharing my knowledge of the strange and unusual with the world.

Looking forward to all the episodes in this feature. One note of feedback – the music was a bit too loud and at times it was hard to concentrate on what Dalton was saying.

I myself only played Silent Hill 2 and I appreciated how ambitious it was, especially for a platform like the PS2. While I’m not a huge fan of horror games (I’ll only play the occasional title) I was really looking forward to Silent Hills after playing the P.T. demo, but then Konami happened.

Thanks for the input! and I feel the same about P.T. I was really excited because it looked like it was going back to it’s roots.
