Episode 3: Searching the City Streets

Welcome back to more Mary Skelter Nightmares!

Today’s episode takes us back to the City Streets, the place we escaped from. Our mission is to try and find some magnolia leaves for Miko. However, the streets are full of traps, Marchens, and of course Nightmares who would like nothing more than to end our quest.

Time to test our combat prowess and do whatever it takes to survive our first mission.

Additional Thoughts and Notes

Hey, everyone!

This particular space will be used for additional thoughts or notes to help clarify certain things each episode. For today I wanted to touch upon two things I mentioned in the video. The DLC and the Novel:

  • The DLC Job will be the Sakura Maiden which is an all-around job and available to all Blood Maidens. An additional bonus is that it won’t require any blood crystals to unlock. It’s also “cute” to quote IFI’s Ari, and having seen it I agree. It’ll make a good addition to any dungeon party.
  • The US LE includes a “Novel Book” which contains additional backstory for Mary Skelter Nightmares. The Japanese version of the game had story bits on its website, as part of a special book that came with the Japanese Limited Edition, and of course the in-game novel. There was also additionally a light novel published by Kadokawa in Japan. However, this is not part of the LE or the game. Most likely due to the publishing rights being held Kadokawa.
