For those who played the original Life is Strange, you know how powerful friendship can be to save someone’s life. The same goes for reality. Square Enix also knows this.
The company known for Final Fantasy is teaming up with The Jed Foundation (JED) for the “Your Friend, Me” campaign. The program helps supports improving mental health and suicide prevention efforts. To participate, interested fans must record a short video describing how a friend has impacted their life. To end it, you must say “Your friend” followed by your name, just like a letter. Each submission with the hashtags #YourFriendMe and #LifeisStrange donates $5 from Square Enix to JED. Square Enix is prepared to donate as high as $25,000.
To submit your own video and donate to a wonderful cause, check out the campaign’s website.
The first episode of the prequel, Life is Strange: Before the Storm, releases on August 31st. The game will be available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC.
