Capcom has announced a new inclusion for Street Fighter V’s second season Character Pass, the Rogue Commander simply known as Ed. Coming off the heels of several revealing leaks, Capcom has officially confirmed that the veteran of Street Fighter IV and Super Street Fighter IV will make his return. Participants in the Capcom Fighters Network Beta will be able to test drive Ed and other Season 2 characters on PlayStation 4 and PC as early as May 11th through the 14th.

By the lore of Street Fighter, Ed is the protege of the villainous M. Bison (or Balrog in Japan), first seen in the epilogue of Street Fighter IV. The mysterious Psycho Powered boxer arrives in Street Fighter V with three costume options, seen below. For those who don’t yet have the Season Pass, it’s available for $29.99 USD. Besides Ed, it also includes Akuma, Kolin, and 3 as-of-yet unannounced characters due later in the year.
