Little Busters group shot

VisualArt’s seems to have released the opening for Little Busters! English Edition, the English translation of the Key visual novel.

You can watch the video below:

The opening is generally the same as the regular Perfect Edition opening, but with the text introducing the main characters and voice actors in English instead of Japanese. The video is also widescreen and upscaled to 720p.

Little Busters! English Edition is an English translation of Perfect Edition, which is a version of Ecstasy without the 18+ content. It retains the additional routes for Sasami Sasasegawa, Kanata Futaki and the entirely new character Saya Tokido from Ecstasy.

No additional announcements accompanied the video. It may be worth noting that VisualArt’s shared the video on Twitter with the hashtag #aprilfool, implying that the video may not be the real opening, but VisualArt’s has a history of making announcements on April Fool’s Day, such as the Planetarian anime in 2016 and the original Rewrite visual novel in 2008. This may be part of VisualArt’s promise to give us more information on the English release of Little Busters!

Little Busters! is a game that I have a lot of fondness for, and you can see our review of the original version here.
