Rime

It’s been over three years since Rime was first unveiled at Gamescom 2013. After a couple years of silence the game has resurfaced via an IGN First exclusive look. The game is now planned for a multiplatform release, with the game scheduled for this May. A new trailer, which can be found below, once again showcases a colorful yet desolate world which many years ago compared to Ico and The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker. The game seems to have a focus on exploration and puzzle solving with the main protagonist, a young boy, teaming up with a fox companion.

Rime will release on PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC this May.

  • Now that is what I am talking about. It’s great that such a beautiful game is on all platforms so everyone can enjoy it. None of that third party exclusive bullshit.

  • Mr0303

The game was inspired by Team Ico titles and it even had the same hellish development cycle. The Last Guardian came out before it, but it turned out OK, so hopefully this will too.

I wish to see ico’s team response to this game.
