Update 02/01/2017 at 12:46PM GMT:
The listing has been confirmed to be a fake, as the listing was placed onto EB Games’ site by a third party. See the tweet below.

Original Story: EB Games Australia have listed the existance of ports on their website of the critically acclaimed titles Mario Kart 8 and The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition for the Nintendo Switch.  Boxart designs for those games, alongside the already confirmed The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, are also included. You can check out the screenshot below that reveals the (now removed) listings.

More information about the Nintendo Switch will be announced on January 12th/13th (dependent on your timezone) in a global livestream from Tokyo, Japan.

We saw those games in the NS trailer, so it’s quite believable. Nintendo should really lift the silly NDA on games sooner rather than later.

    • Miqubi

Yeah the Skyrim thing was particularly ridiculous, with Nintendo showing it (against their own NDA? or whatever lol) and then Bethesda going full damage control mode with the PR blurb unable to deny it (because how can they deny it lol) and unable to confirm.

Also that Mario Kart thing also mentions 24 tracks and 10 new characters

scratch everything I said, this from the source website

UPDATE: Vooks editor Daniel Vuckovic has admitted that the images were fakes – we blame a hangover from Christmas dinner on this one, folks.

    • Mr0303

This is why Nintendo should release the launch games already. The fakes seem pretty reasonable.

I agree with this, it certainly had me fooled!

    • Miqubi

it had fooled a lot of people, me included lol I opened the source just on a whim.

The article has been updated to amend this, sorry for the confusion!

  • MusouTensei

Even though it’s fake, I have no doubt that Nintendo will rehash some games, it’s easy money after all.

  • Haven’t the leaks confirmed this anyway?
