Gunstar Heroes

Do you like classic Sega games? Do you own a Nintendo 3DS? Do sales make your wallet smile? If the answer to one or more of those was a resounding yes, then you might be interested to hear that there is a sale going on for Sega 3D Classics in the North American 3DS eShop, going until June 20th. You wouldn’t know that from looking at the eShop currently, as they don’t specifically group the games together as being on sale, but you can find them if you browse a bit.

The games are all discounted from $5.99 to $3.99, which is pretty darn inexpensive. The complete list of games on sale is the following – 3D After Burner II, 3D Ecco the Dolphin, 3D Gunstar Heroes, 3D Out Run, 3D Shinobi III: Return of the Ninja Master, 3D Space Harrier, 3D Streets of Rage, 3D Streets of Rage 2 and 3D Super Hang On. Not all of those are classics in my book, but many of them are pretty great retro games, so check out the sale while you can!

About Josh Speer

Josh is a passionate gamer, finding time to clock in around 30-40 hours of gaming a week. He discovered Operation Rainfall while avidly following the localization of the Big 3 Wii RPGs. He enjoys SHMUPS, Platformers, RPGs, Roguelikes and the occasional Fighter. He’s also an unashamedly giant Mega Man fan, having played the series since he was eight. As Head Editor and Review Manager, he spends far too much time editing reviews and random articles. In his limited spare time he devours indies whole and anticipates the release of quirky, unpredictable and innovative games.
