Pokken Tournament

Pokken Tournament, a Wii U exclusive, was shown off as part of today’s Nintendo Direct.

Among what was shown off is that winning fights will net you in game currency which will allow for avatar customization. Also shown off, were a few of the different Pokémon that you can control, their fighting styles, and the fact you can use certain Pokémon as support.

In addition there is Burst Attack mode, which focuses on turning the tables in battle or finishing off an opponent.

Lastly, early adopters will also get a limited-edition physical amiibo card for Shadow Mewtwo.

The game will be available March 18th and you can watch the finals of the Pokken Early Access Competitions on March 17th.
