Welcome to episode 65 of Total Control, oprainfall’s official podcast. Recorded on Feb. 24, join Azario Lopez and Steve Baltimore, Joe Sigadel, Phil Schipper, and Leif Conti-Groome as they talk about the NISA press event and bad translations. Also discussed, why Azario like Senran Kagura and not Nep U, and why Azario thinks PC gamers are hard on games. Additionally, we talk about video games, Escha and Logy Plus, Firewatch, Disgaea PC, and Nep U on PC.

I disagree with Mr Baltimore that you need to play Burst to understand Shinovi Versus. It does a pretty good job explaining the backstory of the existing schools and gives a good introduction to the newcomers.

I did however enjoyed Neptunia U and thought that it was the best spin off of the series. It was lighthearted fun and I really enjoyed the combat. It became quite grindy during the end game.

I hate Steve for making our listeners choose lol. Thanks for listening <3

I have nep u and haven’t started it lol

It does explain it, but it’s a bit different than the actual canon story.

My point is that it is self contained. It is a weird decision though. The entire Shinovi Versus game is a What-If scenario. Perhaps things will be brought back to canon in Estival.
